Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course participants will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to:

• Increase their knowledge of the safety and health legal system in relation to risk assessment

• Improve their understanding of risk control and safety and health management at work

• Understand their role in the risk assessment and participation process

• Be able to identify hazards and carry out risk assessments

• Understand risk assessments in the preparation and implementation of the safety statement

• Provide knowledge of the sources of safety and health information in relation to risk assessments

• Assess the learning of participants, evaluate the course and reflect on follow up approaches to be used in own workplace

This Course is Designed For:

All personnel who have a role to play in the management of health and safety issues in the workplace

Training Methodology:

This course is classroom based and it is highly interactive with role-playing playing and practical exercises to reinforce the participants understanding and learning.

What to Bring to the Course:

While pens and paper will be supplied, participants are free to bring their own. Participants should wear comfortable clothing for practical activities.
