Intellectual disability
Teams in intellectual disability services support people to live the life they choose. Find their courses here.

What training does a disability services team need?
The regulations for designated centres for people with disabilities (S.I. 367 of 2013) say staff must have "access to appropriate training, including refresher training" (Regulation 16). They do not name courses or hours. Since 26 April 2023 the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Acts have been in operation and wardship has been abolished (gov.ie).
